At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), we are seeking a strategic and driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Financial Planning & Partnership
  • Act as a key financial partner to regional operations senior leadership
  • Lead annual planning and budgeting processes across assigned regions, including detailed branch-level budgets
  • Provide recommendations to help achieve financial goals and improve performance

 

  1. Performance Monitoring & Analysis
  • Monitor KPIs, identify trends, and analyze causes of unexpected variances
  • Transform financial data into clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making
  • Present concise, accurate analysis by processing, cleansing, and verifying data integrity

 

  1. Reporting & Confidentiality
  • Manage financial reporting functions, including forecasting and performance analysis
  • Uphold strict confidentiality to protect the organization’s financial data and integrity

 

  1. Miscellaneous
  • Support our values in the stand areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field (Finance or Accounting preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis
  • Experience with Planning, Reporting, BI, and visualization systems required (Planful / Host Analytics and PowerBI preferred)
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills required
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
  • High level of initiative and critical thinking to formulate business issues into analytical problems and devise actionable solutions
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and support multiple senior-level clients
  • Comfortable working with large volumes of data and detail-oriented in data management
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Certified Corporate Financial and Analysis Professional certification preferred

Compensation

The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Base: $105,000-$125,000 per year
  • Bonus: 10% Target Bonus
  • Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $105,000-$137,500.
  • Job Type: Full-Time
